Unser Düsseldorfer WITTE-Team hatte viel Spaß beim Rhein Rafting: Ok, auf dem Rhein ist es vielleicht kein wirkliches Rafting, wie wir es aus den Bergen kennen, aber dafür war es nicht weniger lustig und mit ganz neuen Perspektiven auf die Stadt: Vorbei an fahrenden Binnenschiffen gab es einen neuen Blick auf die Düsseldorfer Skyline mit Medienhafen, Landtag und Fernsehturm oder auf das Altstadtpanorama. „Wer zusammen in das gleiche Boot steigt, will dasselbe tun.“ Dieses afrikanische Sprichwort passt sehr gut auf den gemeinsamen Ausflug, der ganz zünftig im Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht bei hausgebrautem Bier und Grillspezialitäten ausklang.
Our WITTE team in Düsseldorf had a tonne of fun rafting the Rhine. Okay, fair enough, you can’t really call it rafting on the Rhine, at least not like in mountain streams – but that didn’t make it any less fun, and the trip opened up completely new perspectives of the city. As the team floated past inland vessels on their way, they got a fresh look at Düsseldorf’s skyline, including the MedienHafen district, the state parliament and Rhine Tower as well as panoramic views of the old town. “Those who get into the same boat want to do the same things.” This African proverb aptly describes the whole outing, which came to a very cheerful close over grilled delicacies and beer brewed right on ite at the Joh.
