Anfang März erhielt unser Auftraggeber MOMENI die Baugenehmigung für die UNIQ TOWERS. In Bestlage und auf dem letzten freien zentralen Grundstück des Düsseldorfer Medienhafens entsteht nach Plänen des Architekten Christoph Ingenhoven ein bis zu 18-geschossiges Büro- und Geschäftshaus mit insgesamt 30.600 m² BGF. Für die Baugrube gab es bereits Anfang 2022 eine Teilbaugenehmigung und so sind die Tiefbauarbeiten bereits kurz vor dem Abschluss.
Die UNIQ TOWERS, für die eine LEED-Gold und WiredScore-Platin-Zertifizierung angestrebt wird, bestehen aus vier Türmen mit einem attraktiven Freiraumkonzept und werden ganz sicher ein städtebauliches Highlight mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert darstellen. Das geplante Nachhaltigkeitskonzept umfasst zentrale Themenfelder wie Materialgesundheit, Energieeffizienz, Luftqualität, Wasserkreislauf und Biodiversität. Beim Bau der UNIQ TOWERS werden bevorzugt solche Materialien verwendet, bei denen die negativen Auswirkungen auf Menschen und Umwelt geringgehalten werden und die Qualität der Raumluft verbessert wird.
Das Projekt UNIQ TOWERS in der Kaistraße 1 bildet einen weiteren Baustein in der Development-Historie der MOMENI Gruppe in Düsseldorf, an der wir als Projektsteuerer nicht ganz unbeteiligt waren. Die prominenteste Entwicklung ist sicher die Revitalisierung des Dreischeibenhauses in der Innenstadt und aktuell das Bürogebäude LYGHT.

At the beginning of March, our client MOMENI received planning permission for UNIQ TOWERS. In a prime location and on the last available central plot in Düsseldorf's Media Harbour, an office and commercial building with up to 18 storeys and a total gross floor area of 30,600 m² is being built according to plans by architect Christoph Ingenhoven. Partial planning permission was already granted for the excavation pit at the beginning of 2022 and civil engineering work is already nearing completion.
The UNIQ TOWERS, for which LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum certification is being sought, consist of four towers with an attractive open space concept and will certainly be an urban development highlight with a high recognition value. The planned sustainability concept covers key topics such as material health, energy efficiency, air quality, the water cycle and biodiversity. When building the UNIQ TOWERS, preference will be given to materials that minimise the negative impact on people and the environment and improve the quality of the indoor air.
The UNIQ TOWERS project at Kaistraße 1 is another milestone in the development history of the MOMENI Group in Düsseldorf, in which we were not entirely uninvolved as project managers. The most prominent development is certainly the revitalisation of the Dreischeibenhaus in the city centre and currently the LYGHT office building.
